Can we put pure water in the tank?
No, only mineral water or tap water can be injected, and other liquids such as pure water and distilled water can not be used. The water volume in the water tank should not be too full.
Is it safe to use heating function?

Good value and effective relief for dry eye
I have had this for a couple of weeks now and it’s been very helpful relieving my dry eye symptoms. It holds a charge for five to six uses and doesn’t have to be refilled with water after each use. Heats up quickly and effectively moisturizes my eyes. Only small issue is that it doesn’t really sit comfortably on the bridge of my nose which I have remedied with a folded facial tissue for more cushioning.

Confusing instructions in use. Push, push, push push, push the button. Ugh. The mask itself very stiff and uncomfortable. When I asked to return it they sent me a $1.09 refund, really.

Type of Water that the machine can sense / to power on / is confusing to me
Having air blowing in my eyes from a fan or from a mask leaking makes my eyes really dry. I was hoping this machine would be great way to help with the dryness.This steam mask should be easy to use. The operation of the mask is not difficult. Understanding the proper water to use in it has proven to be the difficult issue for me. The listing at the time of this review says : “only mineral water or tap water can be injected, and other liquids such as pure water and distilled water can not be used.”. From what I have determined, the meaning of this odd wording / possibly poor translation / is that the tank does not sense or detect that water is in the tank if it is distilled water or reverse osmosis water. The machine will not turn on. Tap water still has the minerals that this system senses. Most bottled water has minerals and of course mineral water has minerals that can be sensed by this eye steamer allowing it to turn on.My concern is that mineral water or tap water leaves a calcium / lime reside over time. I don’t find an easy way to clean this system after it is used several times.The mask can be used with cool vapor or with steam. There is a setting with no heat and one setting with heat.I like that this is rechargeable and that it can be used without a cord attached. It is also compact for storage.
