Fantastic combo! Absolutely love other than being a little heavy.
I went back and forth a ton on which chicco model to buy and ultimately got this one because of the rubber wheels. I have zero regrets and my husband loves taking our baby outdoors on forest and lake trails in our stroller. It handles so many kinds of terrain so well. I also have a fancy lightweight travel stroller and the wheel size makes a huge difference even for things like going up and down curbs / stairs and going over things like water hoses and uneven tiles. The other thing I love is the storage underneath and the cup holder. I also added a hook for my personal belongings and it just feels so easy to walk with all our things wherever we go. I even use the storage to shop for groceries and keep my baby in the stroller.I do find the stroller bulky and end up getting dirt on my clothes when I lift it into my car trunk. The car seat is not light, especially when my baby is in it and I have to use both arms and a lot of core strength when moving him in and out of my car to click onto the stroller.I loooove how easy it is to click him in and out of the car seat base / stroller. This was a key reason I didn’t go for a different brand. I also like the seatbelt buckle. I used a different car seat brand while traveling and they can be truly annoying, especially with a cranky baby. The chicco design is rather straightforward. Installing the car seat base is annoying on older car models because the metal loop is deeper down in the car cushions. Finally, to respond to the height issue — it’s a good height for the arms of both myself and my husband who are 5’5” and 6’ respectively. He finds our travel stroller a little short for him and hence truly prefers this stroller. I do agree that the arm should be adjustable for the price. We just adjusted the car seat headrest for our growing baby (almost 8 months) and we use the newborn padding in our travel stroller to make it more comfortable. All in all super happy with this strolller! The mixed light gray color is sooo gorgeous too, it gets compliments all the time. Undoing all the fabric to throw it in the wash was hard the first time but it’s pretty easy to put back on and I won’t be as scared of doing it next time.

    Top of the Line
I wish I had this when my kids were babies. This stroller and car seat is like the Mercedes Benz of strollers. It is so substantial, stable, and sturdy I know my grandbabies are well protected and safe. It collapses and expands very easily even this grandma can do it. It is hefty and takes a bit of oomph to put in the back of a car, but that’s a reasonable expectation for the quality.

    Parenthood Just Got a Glow-Up!
If you’re wondering if the Chicco Corso Primo ClearTex Travel System is worth it, let me save you the trouble: YES, IT IS. This thing is basically the Rolls-Royce of baby gear. My child is now cruising in such style that I’m considering taking them to a Michelin-starred restaurant just to show it off.First off, the Aspen Black design? Sleek. Chic. So modern, I feel like I’m strolling through a Scandinavian furniture store, not the local park. My neighbor actually asked if this was “some kind of smart stroller.” I told her, “No, but it does make me look like a more competent parent.”Let’s talk setup: I was ready for an IKEA-level struggle and tears, but NOPE. It was so easy, I actually doubted myself. “Surely I missed something,” I thought. But no, Chicco is just out here revolutionizing how parents assemble things without needing a degree in engineering. And the functionality? Chef’s kiss. The car seat clicks in like it was born to be there. The stroller glides so smoothly, I half-expected applause as I took my inaugural stroll. It handles tight corners better than my car. The storage basket underneath is huge — I could probably fit a week’s worth of groceries and a small dog in there. But here’s the kicker: my baby LOVES it. The cushy materials? Luxurious. The recline feature? Game-changing. I caught my little one smiling while I was assembling it — they already knew they were moving up in the world. In short, the Chicco Corso Primo ClearTex is worth every penny. It’s functional, fashionable, and guaranteed to make other parents at the playground jealous. I may have bought it for the baby, but honestly, it’s really improved my quality of life. 10/10, would buy again (but hopefully I don’t need another kid to justify it).

    RIDICULOUS Quality for Price!
Got this with a discount for $450. (Pro tip: DEFINITELY put it on your Amazon baby registry, so you can get that 15% discount.) This item is a budget friendly but quality item! We figured “Let’s get the budget friendly brand, but get the decked out version” & this absolutely met that expectation. It has big, rubbery wheels for added suspension. Super quality material & very comfy/ cozy for my newborn. We also loved the height the car seat rides. I can interact with my baby & don’t have to squat down like you would with the Doona. In addition to the fact that you can switch it to be front facing or rear facing. 11/10, recommending to all of my friends.

    Absolutely worth it!
I did a ton of research going into buying our first stroller. I struggled debating the additional cost of this travel system vs more economical ones like those at Graco. The higher tier stroller systems ($1000+) from the premium brands felt like overkill but the Chicco system landed squarely in the middle. I really didn’t want to get pulled into a high expense if it wasn’t really necessary or if the baby won’t be using it for that long. The Chicco system works perfectly. The rubber wheels are worth the additional cost alone. The stroller offers a very smooth ride and is comfortable to push. The newborn insert has allowed us to go on walks with our baby and she sleeps the whole way through, it’s so comfortable. The single handle mechanism allows the stroller to fold nicely for transport and is light enough to easily lift and place in the trunk. The car seat feels safe and secure in the back seat and installs very easily with the base. I can’t think of a single pain point in the system and look forward to bringing it on our adventures.
