    Very Attractive, Elegant, and Functional!
I really agonized over buying this over a cheaper brand, but after looking and comparing, I decided The Lagasse Air Fryer was the way to go. I like the French doors that open wide and involve very little counter space. I also like the array of presets selected by simply rotating the control knob, and within each selection one can alter the temperature and cooking time. Other than heating up a couple of Popeyes chicken sandwiches, today was the first real test. I sliced up some skinless chicken breasts, battered and breaded them, then cooked them using the Air Fryer setting. The basket, which seems a bit small, actually held a generous amount of pieces. I had cut each breast into three sections, then filleted the thicker sections. I then immersed them in a bowl of Buttermilk and egg to tenderized for about 30 minutes, followed by dredging through seasoned flour, sprayed with virgin olive oil, and into the basket. Kind of “winged it” on the setting, used 385F for 10 min, turned, then another 12 minutes and the pieces came out super moist and tender, but fully cooked! I should have done my tenderizing separately, then floured the pieces before dipping back in the milk-egg, followed by another dredge, because the coating was too easily dislodged during turning. The oven worked perfectly, exactly as designed. The drip tray did its job collecting drippings, and of course some got on the lower heating elements but actually cleaned up quite easily using a scrubber sponge. The drip tray also cleaned up after a short soak, but going forward I’ll probably fold a layer of aluminum foil over it to make that little chore a lot easier! I love being able to turn on the light and see the chicken cooking, the seasoned coating crisping up, and I used the supplied handle to remove the basket when I needed to turn or remove the chicken. What shocked me was just how MOIST and tender the chicken came out! Even though I didn’t have a cooking thermometer to check the proper temp and probably over cooked it a bit, unlike using my Foreman to grill chicken breasts where there’s a thin line between cooked and tender, and over cooked and tough! Also I can’t use a coating on the grill, whereas the air fryer works just fine with coated pieces!I have a son who almost univerally refuses to eat chicken – except Popeyes’ Chicken Sandwiches, yet when he came down and saw the chicken I made, he picked up a piece, took a bite, then wolfed it down, followed by quickly eating another two pieces, and came back later to snatch up several more! I take that as a testiment to how easy it was to create tasty, juicy chicken that finally won him over!I’m eager to do a rotisserie chicken, and some more air fried boneless breasts with just a good season coating! The oven does make noise when it’s working – not so much it disturbs the quietude of the house, but you can definitely hear it. I definitely like the menu layout – perfectly intuitive, no complicated sequences to remember. I also like the included Emeril Lagasse Recipe Book that shows a variety of things to cook.I think my family is going to benefit from this oven!

Easy to use and a great size
I have only had it for 2 days and I love it, it is so quiet compared to my last air fryer oven. It fits perfect on my counter, I purchased a roll out tray, on Amazon of course, so it is easy to pull out to the edge of the counter, this way I will not be ruining my cabinets with the heat, it does get quite hot. I did a beef roast on the rotisserie the first night and it came out perfect, juicy and tender, it cooked it so quick, 3-pound roast, 35 minutes for rare. I cooked enchiladas in it tonight, came out great and the house did not heat up, I live in southern Arizona, and it gets very hot here in the summer. I did a lot of research, some that had excellent reviews, but they were too big, I have a small kitchen, and this one is perfect. I like the way the doors open, my other one opened downward and spills and crumbs would get down in the hinges, and it was hard to keep clean, also it is easier to put in and take out items. I did put foil on the drip tray when I did the roast, a lot of reviews said it was hard to keep it clean. I highly recommend reading the instructions before using, it makes life simpler. I am 79 years old and do not understand a lot of electronics, I could not figure out how to change the temperature, then I finally read the instructions, and it is very simple to use, and I think I will get a lot of use out of it. I love to cook and bake bread and cakes, that will work for me with this oven, I ordered, on Amazon, a set of casseroles by Martha Stewart, set of 3, with no handles, they will fit perfect. My Dutch oven fits in it for making bread and I saw in one review baking 2-layer cake using 2 racks. I will do an update in 6 months, I hope I will still be happy with my purchase. Update, just made cinnamon rolls, did the proofing in the oven and baked them, I used the baking tray, lined it with parchment paper, did 12 large rolls, they baked evenly and were perfect.

    It is everything they said.
I have owned many courter top toaster ovens, but this one is different. Once I knew it would fit under my cabinets, I took a serious look at how I’d use it. Frankly, I don’t use all of its features, but I have tried most of them. The big big difference, is that it is large enough, especially with its double doors, to cook most items I normally bake, it even accepts a standard 9 X 11 glass backing dish. The way I look at it, temp is temp, so why not bake a beef roast or chicken in it, if it saves me money from heating up the big oven. It does so much more than toast or broil a piece of bread. Because of its size, it preheats in about 1/4 the time of my full oven and bake times are the same, even faster if I use the fan or the convection setting. I use it a lot in making more healthy air-fry dishes. It even does my proofing for sour dough and French bread. Allowing me to use the built-in over for cooking long loaves or baguettes. I normally shy away from Big-Hype products seen on infomercials, but Emeril is OK backing this one. It is Everything they said.

Great multi purpose tool – functionality for unloading could be a bit better
My husband bought this over a year ago and it’s still going strong. It works well and we mostly use the air fry, warm, or toast functions. It’s easy to clean. I wouldn’t roast a whole chicken in here but that’s just my fire risk tolerance. The only annoyance I have is that there isn’t a silicone handle for the tray so it’s burning hot when the food is ready. We keep tongs on top of the air fryer at all times. The shelf and basket are too thin for oven mitts. Secondly the shelf and tray don’t stay in place when you pull them out even half way. They fall forward which is very annoying. Imagine if your oven did that…. It’s a burn risk. You have to hold it with one hand and remove the items with the other or completely remove the full tray from the oven. What if I just want to turn over some chicken wings without fully removing the tray? That is irritating. Hopefully they fix it in future versions.

Niet kopen in Europa. Het voltage en stekker niet geschikt.

This multi-function cooker works perfectly for me. It heats up quickly and does a perfect job of dehydrating herbs, roasting vegetables, air frying potatoes. These are the only functions I have used so far. It does not emit much heat. It is attractive and easy to use.

We love this oven! This has been the best toaster oven we’ve ever bought. It is a bit taller than our Toshiba one. So many features. So much you can cook in this. Love the rotisserie too. It is a bit bigger than previous ones so therefore you can use a larger chicken.
