If you have restless leg or night-time cramps then THIS magnesium IS FOR YOU!
As I’ve gotten older I have begun to suffer the same problems with restless leg (RL) & severe night-time leg cramps as my mother & grandmother. I’ve studied all of the different chemicals & hormones & minerals that the body uses & for what each of them do in the body.I have come to realize that there are 4 necessary elements that are needed for muscle function during the day & night (even as you sleep your body continues to work/function). NOBODY really knows what causes restless leg (RL) … BUT a whole bunch of guesses, but what I have found is that if you have RL leg you generally also have leg cramps at varying levels or degrees. SO for me, the 4 are: sodium (Na) (many people don’t need more sodium than what is in the foods they eat … but, I have a hard time hanging on to it & if you are low there are side effects that are pretty standard for everyone so look them up), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K) … each person’s requirement of each of these is different, but I can tell you what I’ve discovered to be my best dosages: sodium (Na) … since I can’t seem to hold onto sodium (Na) I take upwards of 1000-2000mg per day in divided (3 times a day – I write 3X or TID) doses; calcium (Ca) … I take 3X 1000mg -This dose works best for me (Remember you must take Vit D too – 3X 400mg); I will do magnesium (Mg) last. Potassium (K) … I take 3X 10mEq (1mEq = 64mg) daily (I know that market sells potassium (K) 99mg per tab, but I get my potassium (K) from my doctor in 10mEq per pill). Now, to the magnesium (Mg) … if you’ve looked into magnesium (Mg) at all you have probably become overwhelmed by ALL of the types or different chemical-forms it can come with, but I have discovered what works best for me (each form of Mg is beneficial in the body for different purposes). So, I have come to the realization that one form is not enough, i.e. Magnesium Citrate which is the most popular form although you must be careful about how you take it.I have discovered that THIS form of magnesium [which includes: Mg Citrate, Mg Glycinate & Mg Malate, as well as Zinc (Zn) & Vit D] works the best for me … I take 2 caps 3X day, BUT THAT works THE BEST for me! As long as I stick to this format I have NO CRAMPS & ZERO restless leg syndrome (RLS) … NADA! One more thing … you may need to have something in your tummy to take these, so I always eat at least 30min before & I know that many medical-type personal have varying objections to my way of doing things, BUT HEY, IT WORKS & I SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT & THAT ALONE is a wonderful experience for me after suffering for SO LONG with these debilitating issues I struggled with for years – NOT ANYMORE!I suggest you experiment to see what you need & how much. If it were me, and I read this I would take a combined dosage of Na 600mg, Ca 1000mg (incl 400mg Vit D), K 10mEq, & Mg 2caps of these Mg capsules [AND THIS GROUPING IS ONLY ‘1 of 3’ I take every day]. SO, if you are suffering through RLS, Cramps, no sleep, & feel just plain shytty, well, this combo may be for you! Good luck!

Includes Vitamin D
Great product but Beware the inclusion of Vitamin D which can make this less suitable for bedtime use

Great value for magnesium
Magnesium with zinc. Great buy in my opinion. This helped with a lot of workouts. Recommend this for everyone. Size of the pill is not hard to swallow. Just right.

Magnesium supplement
Good quality magnesium supplements. They definitely help me sleep, but I wish they were a little smaller so they were easier to swallow.
