“A beautiful offering from the heart, to the heart.”—Elizabeth Gilbert
“Yung Pueblo holds a mirror to the relationships we have and offers clear directions to the relationships we desire.”—Simon Sinek
“How to Love Better is destined to change your life.”—Lena Waithe
“Everyone enters relationships with imperfections and negative patterns that block the flow of love, but when you embrace growth, the new harmony within you will flow into your relationship.”
Love enters our lives in many forms: friends, family, intimate partners. But all of these relationships are deeply influenced by the love we have for ourselves. If we see our relationships as opportunities to be fully present in our healing and growth, then, Yung Pueblo assures us, we can transform and meet one another with compassion instead of judgment.
In How to Love Better, Yung Pueblo examines all aspects of relationships, from the rose-colored early days when you may be hesitant to show your full self, to the challenges that can arise without clear communication, to dealing with heartbreak and healing as you close a chapter of your life. The power of looking inward remains at the core of Yung Pueblo’s teachings. Ego and attachment can become barriers in a relationship, so the more self-aware you become, the more you can support both your partner and yourself.
How to Love Better includes:
• How to build harmony in a relationship
• How to see each other’s perspective
• How to find the right partner
• How to heal from heartbreak
• How to overcome attachment
• How to form commitments
• How to argue
Yung Pueblo’s insights on embracing change, building a foundation of honesty, and learning to listen selflessly will resonate regardless of where you are in your healing journey. And his unique combination of poetry, personal experience, and thoughtful advice will help you grow and strengthen all of your relationships.

    This book is for everyone.
As a queer woman, I really love this book. The concepts are applicable to each individual person and very easy to understand and integrate into relationships. Personally, I even apply some of them to my friendships and found a lot of the concepts easy to customize through my own lens of trauma. Yung Pueblo never disappoints, and his wisdom is much needed in this world. Both the simplicity and complexity in his writing and explanations (through novels AND poetry) are unmatched and authentic. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with the world. You leave readers better than you found them.

Do the work, Read the book
This is not the first book by Yung Pueblo that I have read, I also read the Inward Chronicles and this is a great book to follow that series or to read by itself. It is quite insightful for anyone trying to not only love others better, but themselves. Yung Pueblo gives such great insight in a way that resonates within my soul. I cannot recommend this book enough. It is a huge help on my personal journey.

    Great book!
Well written. Highly recommend to read if you care about your relationship and trying to find ways to improve your love life seriously. I bought one for my son too since he seems to be in a relationship with a woman he really appreciates.

    Heart expansive prose
So beautifully written that I wanted to give some as gifts, so I’ve already purchased 4 copies and am likely to buy a few more! This is my favorite of Yung Pueblo’s books thus far. Such important messages for today’s world as humanity navigates our way through some tender and messy evolutionary terrain, with the task of expanding our hearts into new ways of relating, loving and being.

Wonderful info for couples of all kinds!
Reading this with my husband for a couples book club, a chapter at a time. We’ve been married 20+ years and while a lot of this is geared toward newer relationships there’s still a ton for us to get out of it. It’s been a great conversation starter for us.

  8. Elly

    Heart opening guide
This book is a beautiful reminder that love isn’t just a feeling—it’s a practice. How to Love Better gently guides you through personal growth, emotional awareness, and the power of kindness and compassion in relationships. Every chapter feels like a conversation with a wise friend, full of insights and real-life examples that are easy to relate to. Whether you’re in a relationship or looking to strengthen your connection with yourself or others, this book offers tools and reflection points that truly make a difference. A must-read for anyone who wants to love more deeply and live more intentionally.

  9. Shanzay Hayat

Incredible book, really makes you look within. No fluff, straight to the point and practical. A great gift to yourself and your partner to read together.

  10. Trusky

This book has become my relationship bible. Everyone looking to be in a healthy, happy relationship should read it (and make sure your partner does too).Yung Pueblo speaks simply and beautifully about the inner work we should all do prior and during relationships, alongside how to nurture a relationship constantly in simple ways. He tackles the reality that love is not enough in a candid yet kind way.Like with everything significant, it expects you to put the work in, but if your relationship means something to you, this book shows you that it’s not difficult, but consistency in applying simple principles will help you love well.Even if you’re not in a relationship, I recommend it on the basis of building a better version of yourself, because loving well starts with ourselves.

  11. koushik aadi

Just started reading the book, and I could already feel it is going to be epic. Yung publo takes a fresh dive at topics he had already covered in his previous books and it is surprisingly fresh as I read the topics and areas I thought I had already got covered.

  12. Cliente exigente y satisfecho.

  13. Jane

Reading this book made me feel truly understood. For the first time, I began to recognize the roots of my internal struggles and how I might gently work through them to grow. It’s been an eye-opening experience. Yung’s writing is incredibly compassionate, so kind, so safe, and completely free of judgment. I find myself looking forward to every page, and I know I’ll return to this book again and again. Thank you for writing something so meaningful. I found it at exactly the right moment in my life.
