Soft, Warm & Weighted Coziness
I didn’t know if I’d like a weighted blanket, but after giving a few as gifts and hearing back from folks that it was really comfortable, I decided to try it too. And I’m glad I did! This blanket is really cozy and the extra weight is enough to make it feel “substantial” and calming and not too much so it is weird or uncomfortable on my toes. I love this for naps and on nights when it is cold enough for an extra blanket on the bed, it adds that additional physical “security” feeling that comes with the snug-weight.The quality of this blanket seems good. All of the seams are well sewn and there are no issues with the glass beads leaking or other things that I have seen in som reviews of other similar weighted blankets.So I am loving this!

Soft, warm, wonderful construction, and no shifting of beads
I was initially introduced to the weighted blankets by a friend who gifted me one of a different brand of the same size and a weight of 12 lbs. I really liked the gifted blanket that actually cost twice as much as this one, but wanted to try one with more weight. I got this burgundy blanket at 15 lbs., and decided to try the the 20 lb. one in grey (burgundy wasn’t available). Honestly, I couldn’t tell the difference in the weight when each of them was on my bed. So, I returned the 20 lb. grey one since burgundy matches the color scheme in my bedroom.There are so many things I love about this blanket. The burgundy color is actually burgundy and not red. It is not a dark burgundy, but is definitely burgundy. Although the blanket as a whole is heavy, it doesn’t feel heavy when you sleep under it. Although a blanket weight is recommended depending on your weight, the size of the blanket is not considered. For example, an 15 lb. blanket would feel much heavier in a twin size than a queen size as the weight is distributed over a much larger area. Then blanket size is not considered in the recommendations. This blanket does not have any of the “scrunchy” feel or sounds that the more expensive blanket has. This may be due to the 7 layers of padding in this blanket.To sum it up, this blanket is so soft and comfy it will easily replace my comforters for the winter. I should also mention that I recently have been measuring my sleep on Samsung Watch 3 and my sleep scores have much improved since using this blanket. Prior to using this blanket, my sleep score was usually around 49 because I was awake so much of the night from tossing and turning. Since I have using this blanket my sleep scores have been consistently around 70 because I have been waking up much less during the night, and have been getting more deep sleep.UPDATE 05/06/22:Since I tend to be cold at night in the winter, I had been using this blanked primarily in the wintertime for extra warmth. This year, since spring is here, I decided to take this blanket off my bed and use lighter weight blankets for the summer. Boy, was this a mistake!! I had gotten so used to the secure and cuddly feeling provided by this blanket, I couldn’t sleep, and I woke up quite a few times in the night. This was also reflected in my watch sleep scores. After a couple of nights with less good sleep, I put the blanket back on my bed. Surprisingly, I didn’t get overheated at all, but I was sleeping sound again and my sleep scores immediately increased. After this experience, I will definitely be keeping this blanket on my bed for all seasons.Needless to say, I would highly recommend this blanket. I hope this review was helpful for you and will update this review if my opinion changes.

Never knew I needed this
Really nice blanket. Super soft. Even distribution of weight. Looks great. Had a slight factory scent out of the package. Nothing a little febreze can’t handle tho. Four out of five because I can’t speak on its durability just yet. Feels well made though. The box was so heavy I gave it to my roommate he was like what IS that? I says it’s a BLANKET lol. Slept like a champ and really enjoy the comfort of the weight. I put it over my comforter and sheets and it makes everything wrap nicely around me I melted to sleep. I’m going to get one of these for everyone as a gift! Never knew how much I needed this.

Great blanket for those sleepless nights.
Love this blanket! It’s thick and cozy. Slept great! I have not had to spot wash yet but know it will do fine when needed. Looks and feels like it will last a long time. Does not shed, love the color. Weighted blankets do help relax.
