Nice smart ceiling fan with a few caveats
This smart ceiling fan is about half the weight of a traditional 52″ ceiling fan. The motor is small, quiet, and very fast. On the lowest fan speed setting, the fan still spins fast and there’s no way to decrease the fan speed further. It’s made of metal and has a modern but not distracting appearance. The LED light panel is not bright enough to provide sufficient lighting for an average-sized room, and it doesn’t support E26 or candelabra bulbs. The fan comes with a blade balancing kit which I didn’t need to use. The instruction manual included with the fan is difficult to understand, but there are many pictures to illustrate the assembly/installation process.It took about 30 minutes to assemble the fan, and depending on your experience level and whether you’re doing a new install or replacing an existing ceiling fan, the installation time is variable. There are two down rods provided with the fan: 6″ and 10″. The wires to connect the fan to the house electrical wiring can only accommodate down rods up to 10″ in length, so for longer down rods, you’ll need to add length to the wires. The RF/Bluetooth receiver for the fan is installed within the ceiling bracket mount of the fan, so make certain that the house electrical wiring for the fan has adequate clearance when you install the bracket.The fan operates either by remote control or by mobile phone app (via Bluetooth). The remote controller works out-of-the-box. To use the mobile phone app:1. Scan the QR code shown in the instruction manual and download the app for your phone.2. Allow the app to use Bluetooth.3. Press the + button at the bottom of the screen to add a fan.4. Type in the name of the fan and press Confirm.5. Press on the name of the fan to view the dashboard.6. Use the wall switch to turn OFF the fan.7. Use the wall switch to turn ON the fan, and then press the Pair button on the mobile phone app.8. The fan light will flash twice to indicate that pairing was successful. You can now use the mobile phone app to control the fan.You can add additional fans to the mobile phone app by repeating Steps 3-8. The wall switch needs to be kept in the ON position in order to operate the ceiling fan (either by remote control or mobile phone app). Overall, this smart ceiling fan is a good value for the price.

Fan app is extremely aggravating to set up, and didn’t even bother completing the fan app set up. Other than that, the fan looks great, works great, great air flow, great lighting options, and is quiet.

Actually a nice fan for the price. Appeared cheap quality in the box, but went together fine and works great. The light is dimmable and gets very bright. The blades are polymer instead of MDF so should hold up well outdoors.

Buyer Beware, This ceiling fan Trash!
I bought this ceiling fan/light at the end of May 2025 to replace one that had stopped working after 30 years of use in a bedroom. I Installed it in a couple hrs and seemed to work great . Now it is 2 1/2 months later and it isn’t working at all !I checked all wiring in the fan to be sure nothing came loose. I then checked the wall switch which turned out to be fine. I have power in the wall and ceiling boxes and none in the fan. No Light ,No Fan just a hanging piece of trash.I now have to go a purchase another ceiling fan and install it. I can guarantee 💯 that it will not be one from this seller or Amazon when it comes these types of products ever again. When you purchase something like this you would think it’s going to work for a pretty good amount of time not just 10 weeks.

Handy light
This light/fan was relatively simple to put together and install in my kitchen. The remote is handy for turning it on and off from anywhere nearby. I especially like the fact that I can set different speeds for the fan, and the light has a dimmer feature. Very pleased with this unit.

You get what you pay for
First of all, these are very budget friendly fans so I’m trying to keep that in mind. I purchased a new house that was prewired for fans but none existed so I purchased 4 of these for the small bedrooms. Install was a breeze and there was no extra steps needed.First thing I noticed when I finished was the fan looked like it was missing a decorative cover that is supposed cover the ball at the top of the rod. Come to find out, this is how it is designed and it is also photographed this way so no fault of seller but a minor cosmetic gripe.Once I got instructions from the seller on how to download the app, the setup was super easy and the app works just fine. My real issue really is the programming for this fan. When you flip the switch, it will only start on a very white LED on max brightness that is nearly blinding with no ambient lighting. Seller states this is how it was designed and theres no way to force the fan to turn on at a different light tone without keeping the switch on at all times and controlling the fan with the app or remote. Essentially, when you flip the switch to off then back on it doesn’t memorize the last setting, instead reverts to the designed start up settings.The other issue is that the first setting is VERY high. You can’t just have it slowly move air around.. this thing just MOVES air which is impressive but also annoying when you just want a “low” setting. It has 6 settings and theres maybe a 25% difference in speed between 1 and 6. Even the guests I had come into town without mentioning stated the fan is bright and very fast.Finally, the quality of the fan is fine. I wouldn’t say it looks good but it’s “good enough” for rooms that arent used often. The blades are thin and spaced awkwardly wide so it kind of looks under engineered.If you’re on a budget and like bright white LED’s and very fast fans this is the one for you. If you’re like me and want warm lighting start up option with various ranges of speed this is not the one for you. If I had to do it again I would’ve spent double for a higher quality fan that matched my needs. I always remind myself you get what you pay for so keep that in mind.
