Cozy Comfortable No Bunching!
The “Amazon Essentials Women’s Active FormFlex Buttery Soft High Waist 5” (13 cm) Biker Shorts” are a great buy. I’m thrilled I decided to try them. Full disclosure, I wear these biker shorts under my summer dresses to have additional pockets. These shorts have pockets on both sides which is wonderful. They are extremely soft, I’ve washed them quite a few times and they are still incredibly soft. I’m 140 pounds, size 6 and I ordered a medium. It’s a perfect fit. The material is breathable and flexible. They are extremely comfortable and non binding. They are form fitting and I highly recommend purchasing these shorts especially if you’re looking for shorts to wear under dresses.

Cute shorts love them
I ordered the XXL and they do run a bit large or Ive lost more weight than I thought. But its definitely stretchy, soft and super comfy. I walk a lot and try to avoid chaffing so its super nice that it protects my thighs because of the length on them. (Im 4’11 for reference) I would size down honestly if you’re looking for a tighter feel. The color is as shown in the pictures and the quality is good on these. Worth the money for sure if you dont want to drop so much money on name brand gym clothes.

Cute and comfy and worth the price
These shorts are cute and comfy! I’m 5’5″ and 120lbs and ordered a medium which fit perfectly, a small definitely would have been too tight. The high waist is flattering and the fabric is soft yet supportive. My only complaint is that the material isn’t as thick as I would like. I love the 5″ inseam—it’s sporty without being too short. The pockets are convenient for keys or cards, and the material is opaque, breathable, and comfortable for everything from yoga to errands. A versatile, everyday essential which is worth it for the price. I’ll be buying in more colors!

Bright orange active shorts
I love the color and how bright it is. It’s a bit loose/big for a large but it is comfortable and great for the days you wanna relax in stretchy clothes. But if you’re going to workout and want some more fitted I would get a medium. I currently wear a large. I think medium would have been just fine.

Disappointed
Man, I was so excited about these ones but so disappointed! The red color is beautiful, but that’s all they have going for them. they’re not biker shorts — They’re spandex, and see through spandex at that. The material is VERY thin. It has stitching right down the center which is guaranteed to give you camel toe in about 5 seconds. They also run a little small and aren’t as stretchy as you’d expect. The material isn’t soft either. Not keeping these.

A Tale of Two Sizes (Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Embrace the Spandex Paradox)
Listen, I’ve been doing this spandex dance longer than I care to admit, and the first rule of Spandex Club is: SIZE DOWN. Always. It’s written in the laws of physics somewhere between “what goes up must come down” and “your phone will always fall screen-first.”But then I read these reviews. Most people said size UP. One brave soul said size DOWN. My spandex-trained brain was like “finally, someone with sense!” but my anxiety-riddled soul was like “what if THIS is the one magical fabric that breaks all the rules?”So naturally, I did what any reasonable person would do: ordered both L and XL because commitment is for people who don’t have Prime shipping.The L arrived first. I pulled them up to my thighs and heard what can only be described as the fabric equivalent of a warning shot. That little “rrrrip” that means “ma’am, please reconsider your life choices.” I immediately switched to Team XL.XL fit like I was wearing a deflated bouncy castle. Fabric for DAYS. Rolled, bunched, generally looked like I’d borrowed shorts from someone significantly larger who also happened to be a different species.Back to the Ls, but this time with the determination of someone who refuses to be defeated by glorified stretchy pants. Pulled them ALL the way up this time (revolutionary concept, I know).And friends? They fit like they were MADE for me. Like some spandex fairy godmother custom-designed them in her workshop of athletic dreams. Comfy, supportive, don’t move an inch during workouts. I’m obsessed.The real tragedy? I discovered these absolute GEMS exactly one week before I’m canceling Prime because #nooligarchs. The universe’s sense of timing remains impeccable and cruel.Bottom line: Size down (or just go w/ your instinct on size), trust the spandex gods, and prepare to fall in love exactly when it’s most inconvenient. 🤷♀️Lastly – I’m 5‘9“, 210lbs, curvy athletic build

Great quality
I ran a half marathon in the pouring rain and had zero issues! They are lightweight, good quality, and most importantly completely prevented chaffing which isn’t typically the case! 12000/10 recommend
