Definitely matte finish
Oh, how nice to finally find a matte finish on eye shadow ! I’m all for the elderly wearing makeup.It can absolutely improve their outlook and make them feel good about themselves. But, and strictly my own opinion, they shouldn’t wear sparkly makeup and that’s basically all you can find within a middle price range. It simply accentuates all the wrinkles and flaws of old age.This eye shadow is exactly as advertised. It is truly matte. It blends nicely. There are 9 eye shadows that can be used individually or blended together. Contrary to what another wrote, the tin box thathouses them is quite sufficient.

LOVE this pallette!
Love this palette. As stated by others, the colors are nicely pigmented. However, the shade on the bottom row, first smallest shade in that row is much darker than what the picture shows. I like the shade, it’s just not shown correctly in the photo. For anyone who complains about the shadow not lasting all day, I suggest using an eyeshadow base. Problem solved.I’m ordering two more of these to make sure I do not run out any time soon!

Easy to use, excellent buy
I love this palette! I bought one for myself and was so pleased I bought a second for my pro kit. The range of matte shades is beautiful and they’re fool proofed for those less confident with picking colors, just work within a row. They’ve got good payoff and hold well throughout the day, especially with a primer. I’ve used them on people of all ages (seriously, 18 to 60+) and find they perform just as well on everyone and are particularly great for eyes that crease or have wrinkles.For the price, it’s a great buy and I like this just as well as or better than some other matte palettes on the market (which there is a woefully small amount of). The metal tin has held up very well to lots of being smashed in bags and carried all over.There is a slight coconut fragrance in the shadows, just in case you are sensitive to fragrance.

Great product.
It’s so hard to find an all Matt product. Most large pallets waste a lot of product. This is a great eyeshadow. I like to use it wet, but it works dry or wet blends well has good pigment. I would even give it five stars if it had more of the lighter colors, but I’m really happy with the price and the product.

The dark purple is fantastic pigment but everything is super small. I’m really not happy with this purchase n would send it back but the purple is worth it

Such a great value for the price!!!
I got tired of buying large palettes of eye shadow when I only used 2-3 shades,that are nude, ivory and brown, all the way to dark. I like the smoky eye style in moderation, andnatural colors. All of my life and even when my skin was way younger, those colors always looked the best on me.I was thrilled when I saw a metal, vintage looking box, and the shades. It’s small and fits in mypurse, but also no need to fix it during the day, as the colors stay. It’s very good to blend and do gradientswitch from bright to dark to shape my eyes. Also if I put too much nude or bright I can still mix more brown and get it darker. I had eye shadows that would not blend or mix well and it’s very important. Also the powder they are made from is very fine so it doesn’t make my eye lids look dry or caky.So far it’s the best eye shadow I purchased for years!!!

Great Makeup
At 53, I was looking for a matte eyeshadow that would not accentuate my wrinkles. I LOVE this eye shadow!! The pigment stays on for a long time. You don’t need to use much as it goes a long way. I want to look into seeing if there are other colors.
