This was an excellent purchase. Very user friendly, easy to maintain and clean. The overall size of the COSORI Air Fryer 5 QT is perfect for small to large size cooking. I am not a fan of too many kitchen appliances but I will say that this is well worth the investment for what it does and the rewards that it yields to your time management, nutrition and economic needs. Overall design and color is sleek, and simple, a little more boxy for my taste and space availability but I am able to live with it for the benefits that it yields.Food experimentation was successful each time. The lamb chops came out excellent although I would try a lower temperature to begin the cooking process and finish it with the preset temperature at a shorter interval. The steak fries was also an excellent tester that passed the experimentation. The giant prawns cooked to the exact specification of tenderness on the preset temperature for seafood. This appliance is powerful from the standpoint of its cooking ability. I can put the ingredients in an 20-30 minutes later its done to the perfection that I require without having to spare a moment to keep an eye on it while I am busy with another task.I especially enjoy the fact that it is an easy to clean and maintain kitchen appliance. The basket is easy to clean even after it cools down and the crustiness from the food hardens. A quick soak in warm soapy water after the basket cools down and soft sponge does the trick. No residue of smell left in the pan at all. The inner housing can be easily wiped down with a damp cloth when the entire appliance cools down makes for easy maintenance – no more than 1 minute.It does make a huge difference in the prep and cooking when you need a quick and healthy meal after a long day of work. The COSORI 5 quart was the best after looking at a plethora of other air fryers and also having tested with my sister’s (not COSORI brand). The cooking basket height and width is excellent – spacious cooking, especially if you like pans that give you room to maneuver the ingredients. The overall size of the appliance for the countertop would be slightly larger for a small kitchen with less countertop space but if you have room to spare you would hardly notice it taking up room; but for what this appliance does, I would say that the space issue becomes a non-issue.The initial and subsequent cooking in the air fryer did not yield an odd smell that you would normally get from non-stick surfaces. I did follow the suggestion to preheat and I did it with a bowl of water-vinegar solution in the air fryer for about 20 min cycle two times. The price point for this appliance was reasonable especially for what you are getting. HIGHLY recommend this particular model of COSORI.

Booshie air fryer! Real classy quality piece!
I feel spoiled using this thing! It’s so nice and I got it on sale which pfft what a find I’m so happy! This thing has that glass touch top which I’ve never felt such a simple and easily responsive touch panel like this one! And it works so well, my bad I’ve never used the disposable wax paper inserts which I bought a bulk pack after my last air fryer my elder daughter got oil cooked on the inside and cooked on oil is impossible to get out of all the nooks in any air fryer and just gets worse with time, so that wax paper inserts I thought what a genius idea do I bought em and popped one of these baddies in when I preheated my brand new air fryer up and uhh omg the ding dong hidden within me must have bubbled up when using this air fryer for the first time maybe it was I had covid brewing in me I dunno but it’s a big No No to put anything in the air fryer that’s not heavily seated in there because that fan will blow it up into the burners duh! Well I started smelling smoke and you ahh crud man I got a bummer fryer… NOPE I just pulled a dingy move and that paper liner had blown up and caught fire inside LOL well, I quickly pulled out the basket and dumped that smoldering paper into the sink and in water it went, looked inside to make sure the machine wasn’t ablaze, and alls well thankfully!! Lesson learned don’t play with things that can catch fire when you’re not feeling 100%!So I decided to do it right and add my food to a new wax paper liner and it cooked to perfection real fast I might add!! I’m super impressed with my new gorgeous air fryer!!! It is seemingly large yes I’ll give it that and takes up a good deal of space but it’s so worth it to me!! Heating up an entire oven for something that’s a very small fraction of the size of an oven seems silly! Cooking a turkey it a huge family casserole well that’s another thing isn’t it lol!
