Surprisingly Powerful Little Steamer
I’ve never used a facial steamer before, so I was curious to give this one a try. My usual routine is a simple face wash followed by moisturizer, with a dermabrasion cream once a week. I occasionally deal with adult acne (very fine bumps on my forehead) and the occasional stubborn blackhead — which, unlike during my teen years, are much harder to remove.This device is very straightforward. You fill the removable water reservoir on the back, press the single button on the front, and within less than a minute it’s producing steam. I was surprised by how powerful it is — I expected a small, gentle mist, but it actually puts out a strong stream of steam that shoots upward about a foot. Despite the cute pink color, this little unit means business.The steam feels great, gives you a good sweat, and really opens up the pores. After using it, I washed my face and applied moisturizer, and so far I like the results. My only minor complaint is that I wish the cord were a bit longer, but I understand that’s probably for safety.It also comes with a set of handy accessories, including a headband to keep hair back and several tools for blackhead removal.
