Better than expected
I have recommended this to all my friends and definitely family .. everything is sealed right and right and kept fresh ..I love love love this product and Got more for the money I love they provided stickers and a pen ..don’t get much from companies these days but this one was definitely thinking of their customers ..going to buy more for next summer to carry and store for picnic time next summer..thank you so much for giving customers quality, quantity, and actually getting a great deal for an excellent product ..this went beyond what I expected

Great value
These are perfect! They can fit 10 lbs of rice and maybe around 7 lbs of cat kibble (depending on the kibble). Air tight, so things stay fresh and pantry moths can’t get to them. At around $5 a container is a no brainer to just store everything in these! Nice that they came with their own measuring cups too, I can just leave them in the containers for quick scooping.

Good containers
The 5.3 liter containers seal well. Some reviews say the latches are difficult to attach, but I found them easy enough by pressing one side of a piece at a time into the connection joint and pushing down into place using both of my thumbs, one on top of the other. I’m a 64 year old woman who is not particularly strong. The lids are also easy to close onto the containers by placing your palms on the left and right sides of the lid over the latches, pressing lightly downward, then rolling your palms down over the latches. Then turn the container and repeat with the other two sides. If the latches were too easy to attach and to close, I’d be worried that it wouldn’t be a tight seal and that insects could get to my contents.I put soapy water in each of the containers, snapped the lids on and shook in every direction to clean them out and to test the seals before using. They didn’t leak. They did leak when I put warm water in and shook, but that is to be expected. It would warm the air and expand it in the container, which pushes up on the lid and breaks the seal.I had a difficult time getting one of the lids to seat onto the container, but that was easily remedied. I found that the problem was that the gasket is very thick (which is a good thing) and just needed to be pushed farther into its groove in the lid. After I pushed it in, the lid easily slipped into place on the container.I REALLY like the measuring cups that came with the set. The scoop shape is perfect for scooping out contents, and the different sizes are great to leave in the containers when they are filled to various levels. I also like that there are extra latches included.Overall, I recommend this set.

Nice! But…
These containers are nice and large. And, they seem to have a good seal, though it’s hard to tell immediately. I’ll need to test storing some sugar and flour in some of these.But, they are a slight DIY. You have to assemble the hinges yourself. No problem for most people. But, I could see it being a bit tricky for an older person. The easiest way to assemble these require you to put your thumbs down right over the joining spots and push down pretty firmly.Also, be sure to line them up properly. Or, given the force needed to connect the pieces, you could snap the thin plastic. They do give you 4 extra hinge pieces. But, if you break the bar end on the box half, it’s game over.

Love these! I think they would be excellent for food. I am using mine in the laundry room for my various powdered products and pods. They look much nicer than random boxes. I find them easy to open and close and they do a good job of preventing moisture which would cause lumps in my powdered products. They are well made and easy to handle.

Sturdy and big.
These containers are sturdy and big. The plastic is thick and flexible, not hard like glass. The gaskets are thick and seal well. They require firm pressure to press down and the hinges to lock.The hinges need to be attached but that is easily done. Lune up properly and press down… done. There are a few extra hinges, just in case, I guess.Also included are 8 labels (2 shapes, 4 of each) a pen and a set of measuring scoops.Excellent value at $20 for four containers.

These storage containers are great! They’re large. (ALWAYS use a ruler to see the container’s size before you order. Pictures can be deceiving! This actually applies to anything you order where size is important!)The lids fit tightly and are very secure. You even get four extra “lock flaps”.I highly recommend these.

This is my second time purchasing this product. The latches are right and the containers are sturdy.. Just perfect for storing all my baking items. I also use these for chips and cookies!

Me encantó este set. Aparte de los 4 contenedores de gran tamaño, incluye un juego de 4 tazas medidoras y viene con clips de repuesto para las tapas en caso de que alguno se rompa o se pierda. Lo recomiendo muchísimo.
