Why did you pick this product vs others?:I first purchased these collagen capsules for my mother through another retailer, but Amazon’s price is better, so future orders will be through Amazon. My mother had been taking a more expensive chewable collagen supplement for years, but as she doesn’t have any noticeable wrinkles or crows feet and has always had healthy, fast-growing hair and nails, she was taking the chewables more as a deterrent and couldn’t really say if she was experiencing any benefits, as she’s also never had any joint issues, either. When her favorite chewables were discontinued, she asked if I would research other brands for her, and I found the Forest Leaf capsules. She’s been taking them with as little expectation of any noticeable change as she did with her previous brand. So she was very surprised when, halfway into her second bottle of 120 capsules (she takes 3 a day instead of the recommended 2 capsules), I noticed that her neck and jawline — which were just starting to lose some firmness — appeared more taut. When I asked her if she’d lost weight or was doing something different, she said no, and just thought she was going through a “good phase.” But it’s now a couple of weeks later, and her jawline and neck still appear firmer. It’s subtle, so not like she’s had a facelift or laser tightening, but whatever the cause for the improvement, my sister and I definitely noticed it.The women in our family tend to be natural skeptics, so my mother is reluctant to credit these collagen capsules with the change in her face and neck, but says she’ll continue to order them, as they have other health benefits, and they’re certainly better for dental health than those sweet chewables she used to love. She also finds the capsules easy to swallow, and considering that she recently started experiencing other supplements getting stuck in her throat, that’s a definite plus. One caveat is that she’s noticed no hair health benefits when it comes to her once very thick hair that’s going through age-related thinning at the front. But others seem to have experienced thicker hair with this supplement, so she’ll keep taking them.NOTE: I do a lot of ingredient research and also thoroughly read reviews before purchasing supplements, and I noticed that one reviewer seemingly mistook the “vegetable cellulose” listed as an ingredient for the capsules as meaning the capsule content itself is a vegetarian product. And others took objection to the magnesium stearate, which is used in very small quantities, as a flow agent to avoid caking of the powder in the capsules. The FDA declares it to be safe in the quantities for which it is normally used. So if you’re not a vegetarian and aren’t fearful of magnesium stearate, don’t let it put you off trying this supplement.

What it worked for me or I noticed
Good product. I only can tell only what I see on me. Maybe there are some changes that I did not notice so I can not report on them. I am shure that are but maybe only in time I will notice. First, I notice change in my nails. In the past they brroke everyday and I had some even flip over. Now my nails are strong, thick and do not brake anymore. Secon, I notice that they grow very fast. Not shure if it is a good thing for some, I have to cut them almost every week. If I do not cut them weekly they grow to much and I can not work. Third, my hair was getting worse and worse, thinning and breaking. Now it recovered and it is normal. So far this is all I noticed. Could be others like jons or skin but I cannot tell because I take some other vitamins for them. It is a goo product and I saw the changes, meaning that it works. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Was recommended for my bruising, old age bruising, it’s been a month and so far I still bruise easily. Will try another month with the vit. K1 and see if there’s a difference.Capsules are a little large so if you have a problems with pills would not recommend. 

The product arrive on time as stated.The capsules are easy to take.I take 2 capsules in the morning instead of 4 a day.My hair is thicker, but I’m not sure if it’s due to these capsules and the rosemary oil concoction that I made. My nails are also long and strong.My skin is looking good.So all in all, it’s a good product.

Not too bad a price for a 4 months supply. I’ve tried the top powdered collagens but I don’t keep up with it. I can taste it in my coffee and it puts me off. Capsules are much easier for me. I don’t notice any difference with my nails but that has been a major issue my entire life. Nothing helps. Skin it’s hard to tell I use a prescription retinoid which is way more powerful. My left knee was really starting to hurt all the time and that is definitely a bit improved. What I really want to reinforce is a review I saw from someone with IBS. I have noticed a difference. It’s not a miracle. Your IBS is not going to disappear the foods that flare you up? They’ll still flare you up but that horrible burning/unbearably hungry/painful stomach feeling has been mitigated. it has gone from being every single day for the past 10+ years to not every day. I’m not burning through expensive berry flavoured antacids as much as I used to (can’t handle the cheaper peppermint ones it burns too much). I’m eating less on my good days (that burning/hunger is the worst thing to handle for me and piles the weight on). I will keep taking them just for that improvement. Again, it’s not 100% gone and it never will be there are days I still feel compelled to eat or have to take some antacid of flare up from god knows what I’ve eaten but I will take ANY improvement I can get even if it’s only partial/sometimes.
