A gift for myself!
While this gift box is perhaps marketed as something for a special person in your life, I ordered it for myself. It’s been a tough year, and I wanted to treat myself to something pretty and nice. I’m glad I did, because I love everything in this set.Here are my brief thoughts on each item:Blanket. A mossy green, lightweight fleece about five feet long. It’s not super wide, so it’s more of a lap or chair blanket than a sleeping one, but it’s soft, warm, and perfect for the couch.Fuzzy socks. Lightweight yet warm, and super soft. Too warm where I live right now so I’ll be saving mine for the colder months.Satin sleep mask and hair set. The mask feels soft on the skin and is not too tight. The matching satin bag holds a headband and a scrunchie which are two items I use during my skincare routines.Facial roller and Gua Sha tool. The roller feels stone-like, rolls smoothly and feels nice. The Gua Sha tool is smaller than others I own, but this is a bonus for the eye area. Both feel sturdy enough for regular use.Soap. A gentle foamer with a scent that reminds me of oats, vanilla, and lavender. Great for my hands at the sink.Candle. This comes in an amber glass jar with a metal lid. The vanilla scent isn’t too strong, and the hot throw is mild, but it adds a nice gentle ambiance.Metal tumbler. Gold on the outside, stainless on the inside. It comes with a lid and stainless straw with a straw cleaner. Works well for both hot and cold drinks, and the gold color is so pretty.For the price, this box is a good value. Every item is practical but also gift worthy. You could just add a bow and gift it as is because it’s ready to give. Or if you’re like me, it’s just as nice to order for yourself.

There is so much to unpack in this gift box, and it’s so much fun! I really don’t know where to start, but this is a very thoughtful gift for any female friend and would make a lovely spa gift for a special birthday; and to make it extra special, add a gift certificate to a spa, massage, or facial (just a hint). The colors of the items are a rosy gold, soft green, and light beige, all nicely coordinating together.Another option is separating out the items and gifting them as standalone gifts or even bundle a few together. I especially like the little vanilla scented candle (which comes in a nice box); the lovely green throw (tied up in a satin bow) is a nice size, perfect to toss over your legs or wrap around the shoulders; and the stainless-steel wine tumbler with its own stainless-steel straw and cleaning brush is just as nice as any of the expensive tumblers I’ve purchased over the years. The set also comes with a Gua Sha stone and jade roller presented in a box (just add a bow); and a satin headband, scrunchie, eye mask, and pouch. And to top off the set, there’s a pair of fuzzy, soft socks with a decorative heart stitching and a handmade oatmeal soap. All the items look to be well-made. This is a great price for this box; I made a basket similar to this for my BFF’s 40th (along with a spa day certificate) and all the little goodies ended up costing much more than this lovely box.

Good gift but maybe wash and rewrap the blanket before giving
With gift boxes like these, I like to inspect everything before gifting it to anyone. I take away stars when the products don’t smell or feel the way they should. In the case of this gift box, it’s the blanket that smell like chemicals. The blanket is soft, but it smells.Other than that, there’s so much in this box… certainly worth the $40. It has this yummy smelling oatmeal soap (non-edible), but somewhat tiny. The included cupcake smelling soy wax vanilla candle smells amazing. The socks are soft, if not a little bit small. I love that the rose gold wine tumbler is plain…you’re free to decorate it or not as you please. It also has a reusable metal straw and straw cleaner. There’s also a silky-ish hair tie, bag, and eye cover. The jade face tools, the roller and stone, aren’t my style, but are good for gifts. Finally, there’s a Best Wishes card tucked inside.
