Good thereapy mask, but a little on the heavy side.
Red light therapy especially has become a hot topic for a number of health concerns, so I decided to give this mask a try. It has mutiple lighting modes depending on what you are trying to help with, I mostly use the red color lights, though I occasionaly use the blue color lights to help with any potential inflamation. The included remote works well, and makes it easy to use. I will agree with others that the mask is a little heavy, and the eye holes, while well protected, don’t give you the greatest ability to see while moving around.

Heavy on the nose, needs better indicator when on or off
This review is for Red Light Therapy Mask for Face.It came with a head strap that was not explained in the directions. I first used it with the felt facing in but then was not able to easily adjust the straps. I used it with the felt facing out and this made it easier.The mask comes with red light which helps with wrinkles and blue lights which help with acne. I only used the red lights as I do not have an acne problem. It states there is a mode that targets wrinkles around the eyes, but there is a thick rubber seal around the eyes so I’m not sure how that will work.The mask is also heavy and I could not get comfortable when using it. At first I tried sitting up but felt like that was too much pressure on the top of the nose. I then lay on my back but that made the pressure even worse somehow. I feel like this should have a different type of strap or maybe have arms like glasses to take the pressure off the forehead area. There is a soft rubber piece that goes over the eyes…it felt soft on my fingers but it felt hard on my nose.The mask left a red mark on my nose because it was so heavy. The mask also does not have a beep when it is done so unless you are looking at some other timer or the remote you will not know when it is done.When it was on I could not tell if it was really on because the eye shields work so well. I had to use my phone camera or a mirror to see the red glow and know the mask was on.It takes multiple sessions over a few days to see results and the directions said about 3 weeks are needed.At $100 this is a good value for the money as these devices tend to be expensive.

I’m Liking This So Far
The quality of this mask is really nice. It’s a bit heavier than I expected, but not uncomfortably so. I agree with some of the other reviews when it comes to the eye area. The silicone bit, while protective, can be a little uncomfortable. It also makes me feel like it may not be allowing the light therapy to properly treat your under eye area. As for the overall fit, it fits fine for me. Covers my face completely and the adjustable straps assure that the mask stays in place.It’s also very easy to use. You really only need to tap the button on the side of the mask, or use the included remote control.I’ve been using this mask for about 3 weeks now, and I feel like I’m starting to see minor skincare improvements. I.e. smoother, less textured skin.This was a simple integration to my skincare routine. All in all, I’d recommend it, though I’d suggest lowering the $130 price tag just a bit.

protects your eyes but comfort issues plus remote control stopped connecting

At first I wanted to give 5 stars because the eye cover area does what it should–protects your eyes from the lights. I’ve tried some other light masks and their eye inserts do not protect your eyes from the bright lights. This is not safe for your eyes. On the brightest intensity of this mask I could still wear the mask.Key word, COULD. After only using it a couple times, it no longer responds to the remote control. I have recharged both with zero change (and the remote battery had already been showing fully charged, but I charged it anyway). The remote control is necessary in order to change the intensity and treatment time. So now I can do neither. It has 4 different light settings that I can still use, so rather than 1 star, I’ll let it keep 2 stars.Another problem is, no matter how the strap is adjusted, all the weight of the mask is on the bridge of my nose. So the only way I can comfortably wear it is to hold it up so all the weight isn’t on the bridge of my nose. So I can’t really do anything else while I wear it. Laying down is also as painful on the nose bridge. I haven’t found anything I can put in the nose bridge area to relieve pressure without the eye protection getting a gap which then my eyes aren’t protected from the lights.There is not any breathing hole which makes the air inside uncomfortable.Add up all these downsides, I would lean toward 1 star, but being the first light therapy mask that I’ve ever tried that doesn’t blind me, I will let it keep 2 stars.
