I don’t generally leave reviews, but the seller and their customer service deserve recognition. I purchased this knife set and block as a gift. After over a year of careful use, I noticed a small crack developing in the handle material, and reached out to the seller to see about a replacement for that one knife (note, it was quite some time beyond when I’d purchased, and well out of any return window). Upon closer inspection I noticed several knives had developed this issue, and in working with customer service to determine the issue, it was a result of users allowing the knives to slide back unsupported into the block. We’d babied these knives, hand-washing and treating with the utmost respect, but apparently not when the knives were returned to the block, which resulted in small cracks in the handle material at the base developing over time. Again, being I was well beyond any return window, customer service could have been like “too bad,” but what did they do?? They offered my choice to refund in full or provide a replacement knife set. And not only that, when I asked if there was another storage solution available, they also offered to send me the magnetic block alternative from another set. I’ve since received the new knives and they are perfect, and the magnetic block on the counter allows for easy access and, most importantly, a gentler handling solution to keep these very sharp, beautiful knives pristine for many years to come. I’ve ordered from Amazon for a long time, and never have I encountered a seller who went that far out of their way to make sure I was a happy customer. If you are willing to take very special care of these knives they will last for a very long time, and if you are on the fence about buying these from Amazon, I strongly recommend you consider this seller, because they were stellar.

As Good as Advertised
The knives come sharp, with the layered steel’s lines visible and pronounced. They feel better in the hand than a stainless handled knife, and are beautiful. They’re nice enough my girlfriend hides them from the guests to avoid them damaging the knives.

Rusty Accumulation
Knifes are very sharp and aesthetically appealing, but they have signs of rust already which is concerning. I bought these mid-July and we are almost in through August so longevity is a concern. Only have a 30 day return window which recently expired ir these would have been returned. Not what I would expect out of $120 knife set. I’ve had cheap sets last years before showing signs of rust.

Bought the set of 5 knives and scissors with the block for Christmas, now as of January 9th they have already started to rust. They don’t get washed right away but they do get rinsed and they don’t sit in water.

Knifes appear to be ok, they cheaped out on the stand. It scratched, the fake wood coating and tore on the first day. Disappointing. Will be returning
