    Amazing advice, great book
This is an amazing book. It’s a “giant”…it’s a book to keep on the top shelf and reference in and for life. Reading the book helped me changed my life. It helped me control the anxiety and the spinning and worry life brings …as it changed about how I think. It’s a MUST Have and a must read! Tk u! Absolutely amazing. Underlined, marked for later read, page folded to get to it asap. Life changing book. I was able to apply the principles in it and by life is getting better daily.

The mental reset you didn’t know you needed.
I purchased this book on recommendation a couple years ago and left it on the top of my “decorative” books on one of my end tables. This past Friday in a flurry of emotion I grabbed it and started flipping through the pages to distract myself and couldn’t put it down. I wished I read it years ago but it found me when I needed it most! this simplifies detachment in a beautiful, easy to understand, easy to apply ways that anyone can practice. It’s a quick read and puts things into a perspective anyone can relate to.

Gets right to the cause and cure!
I have read several spiritual and self help books and they have great concepts but this book cuts through all the talk and gets right to the root of our problems and explains quite simply how to move beyond them. It has made all the other book concepts much easier to put into practice. I am very satisfied and grateful for the explanations and practice on how to improve my emotional and mental well being. Many other concepts put the carriage in front of the horse but this explains it short and simple.

    Amazing
I just finished this book. Let me tell you something. I loved it. I absolutely did. I’m an over thinker and I overthink everything in my life. Over think everything negative and tend to forget about the positives, I’ll admit that. This book challenged me in ways I’ve never been done before. I hated the way it seemed like the author was coming for me in the way he would talk about certain tendencies. Although it’s obviously not his intention do to so, it got me. I began looking at life extremely differently because of this book. The overall book is telling you that YOU are in control of your emotions, mind, and body, not the other way around. When I realized this (all because of a book mind you lol.) I took my power back. Yes, the book may not be life changing to others but it was to me. Some say it’s repetitive but I disagree. I think he gives good examples to those who may not be aware of their own tendencies making them slowly more aware of them. It’s a good book for a young teenager or a young adult like me who feels like they don’t have anything figured out. It’s important to share emotions and stay emotional in a world full of dullness and angry people. Stay vulnerable (in a good way) and stay chalant.Thank you author for this book. Especially the last page. Stay full of love and curiosity. 🥰

Too Simplistic to Be Truly Helpful
This book delivers its message in a clear, straightforward way and may appeal to readers looking for a quick, calming perspective on overthinking. However, the central idea, that peace comes from not engaging with thoughts, felt too simplistic for me. I would have preferred more nuance, evidence, and practical strategies for applying the concepts in real life. Some sections felt repetitive, and the approach seemed one-size-fits-all rather than adaptable to different personalities and situations. What concerns me most is the risk of taking this mindset too literally. Completely disengaging from your thoughts can lead to passivity, reduced critical thinking, and increased vulnerability to manipulation. While moments of mental quiet can be valuable, I believe it’s far healthier to question and examine your thoughts rather than silence them entirely. While it’s easy to finish in one sitting, it left me wanting more depth, balance, and caution in its advice.
