Very nice vacuum
Research led me to the Shark brand. Digging in, I narrowed down the models, and then this one popped up. It was highly rated by test facilities and users leaving feedback. So, it was worth a closer look.Renewed to me means that the item has been through quality control at least twice. I have always had a good experience with refurbished items, (and the price was right), so I gave it a chance.This is a very nice vacuum. On the first use, it pulled up a whole bunch of dirt, etc. from the carpet, which surprised me. Two weeks later, it pulled up a lot less from the same carpet, so I know that it did a nice deep clean the first time.Having used a couple other upright vacs, I was happy to find that this one is on the quieter side of operational noise. The bagless cannister is easy to detach and empty, and both ends open for easy cleaning.I am very pleased with this Shark vacuum. For me it is a great machine and a great buy.

Gets the job done
Don’t waste your money buying anything fancier than this vacuum, they won’t hold up like this Shark does. Great suction, powerful brush roll, easy to maintain, and an extra long cord. Great value and design.

I own a small residential cleaning company and have purchased a few of these vacuums.They are by far the best!!Inexpensive, have major suction, great for dog hair, and clean easily!!I’ve used those other names like Dyson and they don’t even compare to this Shark

Worst decision I ever made…
I love Shark products. But I was not pleased with this purchase. Let me explain…the suction was strong-as all Shark Vacs are, maneuverability great, liked the functionality & cord length was great. Problem I had was the first time it fell over the canister cracked. Only had it a week, and wouldn’t you know it Shark did not sell this particular canister as a replacement part. I was furious to say the least. So, I duct taped it inside and out. Was able to use it like that for almost 3 months before the motor gave out. So if you’re thinking about buying this model… don’t waste your money. Spend a little more & get a better model. I recommend the Shark Pet Pro vac, well worth the cost… especially if you have dogs that like to be vacuumed as well 😊

The best
I LOVE this vacuum! I own 4 now. I own a new construction cleaning company, and since buying this vacuum on sale at Walmart, IM HOOKED. My girls have tried so many different vacuums, and they always burn up. Not this one! Its great! Keep your filters clean, and empty the canister and you’ll have no troubles. I just rinse my filter in the sink until the water runs clear. Make sure it is good and dry before putting in back in your vacuum.

A GREAT VACUUM!
I bought this vacuum after my old job had bought this for cleaning the store I worked at. I loved this vacuum so much I brought it home some weekends. I loved it so much I looked up the exact model and had it saved in my wishlist for the longest time. This vacuum is really great suction, it CLEANS our rugs really well on carpets and hard floors. We always have cat hair everywhere and it really picks it up. The filter is nice as well too, purifies the air and it’s easy to wash the removeable filter. The build is pretty decent as well, it’s easy to detach and reattach. You can move it around if you would like. It’s really easy to use as well, simply hold the base to recline it back, the switch is able to go from hard floor to carpet settings, and you can adjust the suction as well. One thing I note is that the canister itself can drag a little when you are using it and angling it around just because of the weight, so if you have a sensitive wrist, maybe might not be for you, BUT otherwise I really love this vacuum.

My Holy Grail
My quest for the perfect vacuum has finally reached its end. My standards are insanely high, as I’m a little OCD, and I expect a lot from a vacuum.This vacuum has GREAT suction, a narrow head (which I really like because it can get into the corners without having to move all of the furniture all the time), excellent maneuverability, is super lightweight, and does stairways better and more easily than any vacuum I’ve ever had. I have a lot of stairs in my condo, so this was important. It’s also actually the lightest Shark that I’ve encountered (and I tested 8) so I was shocked at how thorough its cleaning was. Vacuuming my home has never felt so effortless. It has the lift away feature, which basically turns it into a canister vacuum that you can carry around if desired. Its design is pretty and sleek. Dumb to mention that maybe, but aesthetics matter to me. There’s no reason an appliance can’t be pretty and also high functioning.Also, I test drove it first, before two other contenders, and the other two vacuums (including a Dyson), picked up hardly anything on their subsequent runs, which means that it didn’t miss much.A few caveats: This is perfect for my home, but maybe not for everyone’s. The vacuum’s lighter weight and maneuverability mean that it can be more difficult to control on hard floors. Also, Shark needs to get a clue and lengthen the cords on their vacuums. Everyone complains about them being too short, and this one was, sadly, no exception. 5-10 more feet would’ve made it a better vacuum.This was a learning experience. There’s no such thing as a perfect vacuum, just the perfect vacuum for your home.I hope you enjoyed reading this novel. I’m dedicating it to my vacuum. 😁
