New Formula Not Good At All
I’ve been using this creamer for about 7 years. Was stunned when I found out they had changed the formula (now with Maltodextrin) and removed the scoop.In some ways I like the scoop removal as it’s less plastic, but now instructions are to use a measuring cup? How about number of tablespoons, etc. instead?The taste of the new formula is offset by the use of Stevia as the sweetener which, while a good move towards natural sweeteners , doesn’t work with this product too well. It now tastes artificial.Lastly, the new formula generally doesn’t dissolve very well. I find clumps of it as I drink my coffee. Yuk.I’m sad to no longer purchase this and now find myself on the hunt for a replacement. You’d think they did no product testing before launching this – the quality of the creamer had radically changed for the worse.Hope they fix this sometime in the future.

Great Collagen Creamer
I will admit that this does not pair well with all drinks. However, once you find the drinks it complements then it is delicious! It is slightly sweet, slightly coconutty, and slightly rich/creamy as it should be. I find that it is excellent paired with matcha, chai, and Clevr Blends drinks. This is also a great alternative creamer for coffee for those who have food sensitives/restrictions.Some users have mentioned issues with clumping/not stirring well. I have not had this issue, but I have an effective method of blending. I dump the collagen in hot water, let it sit for at least 30 seconds, then use one of those milk frothers to mix the rest. Then I add whatever drink/powder/coffee/milk and am left with no clumps!The milk frother is maybe $9 here on Amazon, so if you do not have one, it is worth purchasing and makes all the difference.It is also cheaper here on Amazon then the Vital Proteins website, so get it here!

The tastes is not bad, not very creamy, but when you’re going for benefit first it’s a good option. The powder didn’t mix in well at first- I was mixing in too hot coffee. It dissolved well after a few minutes. It does seem to create little oil droplets on top of the drink and leaves a slightly gritty texture. Overall, it’s not the best tasting creamer but if it has all the health benefits listed it’s a good pick.

Not recommended for everyone!
I only used this product a few times and in general I came to like it on day 4. I may purchase it again if I see results by the time I run out of it. I’ll share an update when that time comes.This product is not for everybody out there.-If you are a coffee person and want to get your “vital proteins” in your coffee, then this helps.-it does not have a coconutty or any flavor once its in your coffee, but it does have a texture and a little salty taste. I like it but without any sweeteners (stevia or sugar). When I first got it, I was adding stevia and it tasted horrible. It tastes way better without any sweeteners and it actually made me drop the sweetness in my Cappuccino (using the Nespresso machine), which is a great and amazing thing! I used to have my Cappuccino cup with brown/white sugar on a daily basis for 5 years! However, the calories are high and a lot more than the ones that were in the sugar I used to add.-It does give a lot of energy and one day I went without it and felt absolutely drained out of energy.-I would get it again if I see results by the time the little box runs out.-I did it get the shipment really quick and it was not lumpy.-If I don’t see results by the time the box runs out, then I would not ever get it again as its pricey and high in calories and does not have an extraordinary taste.-it worked well with Macademia and Cow milk. I liked it better with Macademia milk and no sweeteners.-Mixing it was hard, I had to use a little whisk in my cup. If you do not mix it well you do get this really bad sand texture between your teeth!So, it all comes down to if it gives great results and helps with better skin, hair and nails!

Best way for me to get my collagen
Regardless of my schedule or (almost) whatever diet I’m on, I must have my morning coffee. I keep this creamer near the coffee station and use it daily consistently as a result. I only use one scoop, in part because it does add a density to my coffee, maybe like hot chocolate mixes add a creaminess to milk or water. In part because it goes fast. I also add half and half just as a personal preference. You do have to stir the powder in. The flavor is subtly mocha and if you really imagine it there’s a hint of coconut but t is definitely not coconut forward. Hard to say if I notice results quite honestly. At 63, I am mostly just trying to offset some of the effects of aging on my skin and soft tissues. I have been using this product for months and expect to continue to use it as long as it’s available.

Focus on it being a supplement
The flavor is good. There is sweetness in the coconut milk powder and I enjoy the vanilla. If you are going to purchase this, see it as a supplement rather than a creamer. Mixes well. In fact it just disappears. It’s not concentrated and if like many people you drink coffee from a 12 or 16oz mug you’ll need up to 1/2 a cup of powder to try and get it to look milky. I’m not impressed by the number of 1/4 C servings in one container. Not enough to get you through a 2 week stretch of daily coffee. At $23 it’s a profitable business idea but not a great creamer. Aside from that, hopefully my skin will be amazing!
